CRDC Future Focused 2024 -The Plan

As stated by the International Economic Development Council, Economic Development is a group of policies or sets of activities that seek to improve well-being and quality of life for a community. In an extended definition of the practice of Economic Development, Dr. Ron Swager CEcD, explains that it is a process -a process of creating wealth. “The practice of Economic Development makes us (and all the stakeholders) similar to mechanics. We adopt practices –programs, policies, and actions– that make the engine work better. So the purpose of the practice is to improve the process for the betterment of the area.”

With this introduction, CRDC wants to share the Future Focused 2024 Economic Development Plan for The Greater Clinton Region for the next five-years: CRDC-FutureFocused2024-EconomicDevelopmentPlan
