U.S. Army Corps proposes Mississippi river restoration project near Clinton

The area of the Mississippi River overlooked by the Eagle Point Lodge in Clinton, IA,  is the lower portion of a six-mile stretch that is pegged for habitat rehabilitation and enhancement by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its partners, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Iowa and Illinois departments of natural resources.
