Natural Gas/Electric

Our region is served by several electrical and natural gas providers, including Alliant Energy, Commonwealth Edison, Eastern Iowa Light & Power Coop. and MidAmerican Energy. Not only do these entities provide ample, reliable power source and quality customer service, they are advocates for economic development in the region and will work diligently to assess and meet your project needs.

Water and Wastewater Treatment

The Iowa-American Water Company, a public-owned utility provides well water for Clinton, Iowa. The surrounding municipalities provide service to the remainder of the region and each municipality provides wastewater and solid waste services. The Region has adequate water and waste water capacity to satisfy the needs of existing and new businesses and the City of Clinton will soon be constructing a new wastewater treatment plant to expand these capabilities.

Telecommunications

The Greater Clinton Region offers a wide array of telecommunications services through a variety of vendors, including: Mediacom, Qwest Communications, and Sprint. Locally or regional based, and national providers can connect you to a range of services from local and long distance phone service to broadband cable, fixed and mobile wireless, DSL, ISDN and T1 and T3 lines.
